Job Title - Principal Structural Engineer - Offshore Oil & Gas Division - Offshore Structures Skills - Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer, Topside, Offshore, Oil and Gas Location - Paddington, London As a Principal engineer you will have a degree in civil or structural engineering either with chartered status, or be close to becoming a chartered member of an appropriate engineering institution. You will have experience in design of offshore topsides structures on a number of projects. This will include all phases of the project. You will have supervisory experience and have good communication and leadership skills. You will be familiar with a range of design codes and have used Staad for offshore structural analysis. This role will offer an exciting opportunity to someone looking to further develop their career in the Oil and Gas industry. You will be a key member of the offshore structures team, reporting to Project Management on project progress including problems, programme milestones and resources. You will have the opportunity to provide technical input to tender clarification and evaluation work and prepare estimates and review specifications for proposals. Job Title - Senior Structural Engineer - Offshore Oil & Gas Division - Offshore Structures Skills - Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer, Topside, Offshore, Oil and Gas Location - Paddington, London We are currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to work in our London offices. The selected candidate will prepare engineering designs of specific components or areas of a structure assigned to them by the lead engineer. As a senior engineer you will work with other members of the project team and comply with general engineering procedures, project instructions and company EHS procedures. As a Senior Structural Engineer you will have the opportunity to act as Lead Engineer on minor projects and assist in the development of engineering techniques in the Offshore Structures and marine Group As a Senior Engineer you will have design experience on at least 3 offshore steel structure projects, ideally including jackets and topsides. You will be conversant with at least one of the major offshore structural design codes and have a working knowledge of Staad Pro. You will have experience on at least 2 phases of project design. This role will offer an exciting opportunity to someone looking to further develop their career in the Oil and Gas industry. You will be an integral member of the offshore structures team, reporting to the Lead Engineer or Project Engineer on matters affecting projects. |
